Starting fires seem so obvious. Wad paper up. Place twigs on top. Light. If need be, add gas. Well, not if you like your arm hair or eye brows. Even being raised for a military, as an adult I found I difficult to get a hot fire fast. I found twigs down first then paper then twigs on top lights every time. This works well for lighting fireplaces at home. Be safe. Have water on hand.
